Every year I start my garden with high hopes and grand expectations and every year it either fizzles out or becomes a monument to neglect. My goal for this year is to at least check on the damn thing weekly in hopes of doing passing maintenance.

Planted broccoli and one kohlrabi in the back bed. A few spinach plants for kicks. The leaf pile is an ongoing compost experiment I've been walking about the neighborhood picking up bags of leaves all month.
